An empty house

This house has turned empty
Literally from the usual laughter and the chattering
The teasing, the noise
Everything was paused for a while

One has lost the father
One has left, to be around her
Leaving the rest with burdenful dilemma

This pause, I wonder if it would really be a hiatus.

Many could move on
It's just the matter of time
As many as who couldn't
